HYDERABAD:Indian Immunologicals (IIL) has been chosen as the winner of the Animal Pharm Award for the best animal health company in the ‘India, Africa, Middle East’ category for 2014. The Hyderabad-based company received the judges’ approval based on its impressive new vaccine approvals for protection against peste des petits ruminants (PPR), brucellosis and blue tongue.
Talking about the Animal Pharm award, Indian Immunologicals' managing director, K V Balasubramaniam said, “We not only emerged as the largest player in foot and mouth disease vaccines in the world, but qualitatively speaking, we made a deeper impact on the lives of livestock keepers with some important new product launches – blue tongue disease vaccine, adult dose brucellosis vaccine, oxfenbendazole tablet, to name a few.
