Movie Mogal Ramanaidu Daggubati has died of chronic illness on Wednesday. Ramanaidu had been suffering from prostate cancer for a while and finally, he succumbed to it. The 78-year-old producer, born on June 6, 1936, in Karamchedu of Prakasam District breathed his last at his residence due to prostate cancer.founder of Suresh Productions. Ramanaidu received Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award from Government of India in 2012 for his contribution to the Telugu cinema. In 2009, Ramanaidu was conferred with Dada Saheb Phalke award for life time achievement in film industry. Ramanaidu has produced over 130 movies in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Oriya and other languages on Suresh Productions banner and his name features in the Guinness Book of Records.Ramanaidu is survived by wife Rajeswari, sons Suresh Babu Daggubati (producer), Venkatesh Daggubati (actor) and daughter Lakshmi (mother of Naga Chaitanya).
