Hyderabad : Ten Telugu Desam MLAs were suspended from the Telangana Assembly on Monday for the entire budget session for stalling the proceedings and refusing to tender an apology over the reported ‘disrespect to the national anthem’ during the governor’s address to the joint session of legislature on Saturday.

As the day’s proceedings began, Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao wanted the TDP members to tender and unconditional apology and warned of serious steps for refusing to do so.
