KTR keen on bringing global brands to Telangana State
HYDERABAD: Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao has said that he is trying to woo internationally reputed brands to Telangana in the wake of several prominent domestic industrial houses evincing an interest to set up units in the State, according to a press release on Saturday.
The Minister, who is currently on a tour of Taiwan, held a meeting with representativesof Foxconn Technologies, which supplies components to internationally reputed brands like Apple. He had a meeting with SIH mobiles of Foxconn group.
He advised the SIH Mobiles to set up its unit in Hyderabad as it would be beneficial to them in several ways.The Minister sensitized the CEO of SIH Mobiles the advantages to those set up heavy industries as per the new industrial policy of the government of Telangana. The CEO evinced interest to depute a delegation to the State.
