Woman prisoner dies from Chanchalguda

Hyderabad : A 39-year-old under-trial women prisoner from Chanchalguda women’s prison died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday at Osmania General Hospital. Prisons superintendent Basheera Begum told media that the deceased Vaddera Renuka (39) was a resident of Bolarum area. She has been lodged in the prison since last December following her alleged role in a murder case. “She suffered cardiac-arrest in the early hours of Tuesday and was rushed to the hospital. She died while undergoing treatment,” Basheera said. A case has registered on the death of the prisoner by Madannapet police and investigation has been taken up under supervision of inspector KVP Raju.
