Zoo Park entry fares hiked

HYDERABAD: Nehru Zoological Park authorities decided to hike the entry fare, safari ride and rides on battery operated vehicles with effect from June 12. According to the revised fares, the entry fee for child is Rs 15, Rs 30 for adults against the existing charges of Rs 10 and Rs 20 respectively.

Similarly for safari rides the rates are Rs 40 for adults and Rs 30 for child. For availing the services of battery operated vehicles, adult would be charged Rs 50 and Rs 30 for children. The decision to hike was made by the Zoos and Parks Authority of Telangana (ZAPAT) on the recommendations made by a committee constituted for the development and upkeep of the national parks and zoos in the State.
