Both the films released were from Tamil. While 'Theri' is a mass entertainer, '24' an experimental flick. Samantha's role in 'Theri' was a homely one and had less screen space. Moreover, it is an out-and-out Vijay's film. On the other hand, '24' is getting tremendous response for its intelligent screenplay and Surya's mind-blowing performance. But, the only flaw in the film was Samantha's love track said the critics. Though both this films were well garnered, Samantha is not happy as she did not get proper credit.
