New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has put out an open dare to former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, saying he can also contest for the Congress president post. Digvijay Singh, who has repeatedly asserted that Rahul Gandhi should formally take up the mantel of the party, has now said that fellow Congress leader can also try if he wants. Earlier in the month, Chidambaram had stirred a storm with his comment that a non-Gandhi can be Congress president.
