Hyderabad: With property tax arrears piling up to Rs 652 crore, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has decided to go after willful defaulters to achieve an ambitious revenue target of Rs 3,000 crore for the ongoing fiscal. Although the official target of the property tax wing is Rs 2,000 crore, GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer Somesh Kumar reportedly issued informal orders to all the officials to mop up as much income as they can to achieve the magic figure of Rs 3,000 crore.
