HYDERABAD : Tata Motors has launched its sporty hatchback, the Bolt at starting price of `4.45 lakh for the Revotron (petrol) 1.2T version and `5.55 lakh for the diesel variant. The car will be available for sale, across the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in all Tata Motors sales outlets from Tuesday. Ashesh Dhar, sales head (South & East), Tata Motors, said, “We expect Bolt to strengthen our presence in the hatchback market, one of the popular segments in India.
With many segment first features, the Bolt offers global design and standards designed and engineered by our teams across India, UK and Italy. It is the next leap under our Horizonext strategy to launch two new models every year.” Multi-Drive mode is introduced by Tata Motors with the Revotron 1.2T engine in the Bolt that enables switching between Sport, Eco and City mode.
It also coupled with a superior throttle response, Drivenext, Smart Electronic Control Unit and advanced catalytic converter to reduced toxic emissions.Available in a five colours - venetian red, pristine white, platinum silver, sky grey, dune beige - the Bolt will be offered in four trims - XE, XM, XMS and XT.
