413 polling station installed in state: MLC

Hyderabad: The Returning Officer of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar Graduate MLC Seat Naveen Mittal held a review meeting with nodal officers on arrangements being made for the peaceful conduct of the elections scheduled to be held on March 22, 2015. Speaking on the occasion, he said that they had set up 413 polling stations 97 in Mahabubnagar, 165 in Rangareddy and 151 in Hyderabad- for casting of votes. He said that they had set up reception counters at victory play ground in Chaderghat. He said that counting of votes would also be held at the same play ground. Noting that they had deployed GHMC officials as nodal officers, Mittal said that the officers would conduct inspection of polling stations and verification of ballet boxes. GHMC Chief Engineer K. Suresh Kumar, Additional Commissioners C Ramakrishna Rao N Ravi Kiran and D Jayaraj Kennedy attended the meeting.
