Cargo personnel held for 4.8 kg gold theft
Hyderabad : Two employees of Royal Express Cargo Pvt Ltd, Begumpet were arrested by the Shamshabad police on charge of stealing a parcel from a gold consignment worth Rs 1.2 crore at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The accused identified as V Manoj Kumar and A Satyanarayana Raju, both employees of the private company that operates from Begumpet, stole a parcel containing gold and jewels on February 7, according to Shamshabad DCP A R Srinivas.
He said that a case has been booked against the accused following a complaint by businessman Sushil Kumar Pacheria, who stated that a parcel from the consignment containing gold ornaments weighing 4.8 kg worth 1.2 crore went missing.
