Raahgiri enters third week, numbers grow

Hyderabad : The third edition of Raahgiri was held on February 1 from Biodiversity Complex and Mindspace Junction road. The Day, as before, saw the enthusiastic participation of techies, students, officials and general public. Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA) president Ramesh Loganathan visited Raahgiri Day venue and appreciated the organisers for coming up with such a novel programme.


HYSEA declared its support for Raahgiri. Telangana Transport Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Sultania said that on Feb 8th, the next Raahgiri Day, his department would organise a painting competition on road safety. IT will be held for 4 Raahgiri Days starting next week. Chirec Public School joined the Day with its students choosing the occasion to showcase their talent to the world. Bands from the school performed at the event. Apart from the regular sports, yoga, aerobics, cycling, Frisbee, zumba, skating, shuttle, kite flying several residents of the nearby localities joined the event with impromptu performances like mimicry and dance.
